A welcoming recovery home at golden hour

California Recovery Housing

A safe place to rebuild — one day at a time.

Light of Life Recovery Homes offers structured, substance-free housing where residents rediscover accountability, purpose, and community on the road to lasting sobriety.

Our Mission

Recovery is more than sobriety. It's a rebuilt life.

The mission of Light of Life Recovery Homes is to provide safe, affordable, structured, and substance-free housing that promotes long-term recovery through accountability, peer support, integrity, and personal responsibility.

Successful recovery requires more than sobriety. It requires stability, encouragement, healthy relationships, and opportunities for growth. Every policy in our home is designed to support these goals.

Core Values

Four principles we live by.

These values shape every interaction — between residents, staff, family members, and community partners.

01

Hope

Every resident deserves the opportunity to start over — regardless of past mistakes.

02

Accountability

Residents meet financial obligations, complete chores, and take responsibility for their actions.

03

Respect

An environment free from harassment, discrimination, violence, and intimidation.

04

Integrity

Honesty is the foundation of recovery. We communicate truthfully and admit mistakes.

Life Inside

A home built for the daily work of recovery.

We're not just a place to sleep. Every routine, rule, and relationship in our homes is designed to build the habits of independent, sober living.

A quiet, sunlit corner of a recovery home

Structured daily rhythm

Curfews, quiet hours, and chores create the routine early recovery needs.

Peer support community

House meetings, recovery coaching, and shared accountability with fellow residents.

Employment & purpose

Residents are supported to find work, attend school, volunteer, or pursue job readiness.

Random testing

Regular drug and breathalyzer testing protects the sobriety of everyone in the home.

Recovery meetings

2–3 weekly meetings — AA, NA, SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, Refuge Recovery and more.

Clean, dignified housing

Comfortable rooms, common spaces, and weekly deep-cleans in every home.

House Rules

Clear expectations. A safer home.

Living here is a privilege, not a right. Every resident agrees to these standards on move-in — because structure is what makes early recovery possible.

01

Zero tolerance

No alcohol, illegal drugs, marijuana, or drug paraphernalia. Violations may result in immediate discharge.

02

Curfew

Sun–Thu 12 AM • Fri–Sat 2 AM. Overnight-shift workers may request written exemptions.

03

Random testing

Random urine, breathalyzer, and post-absence testing. Refusal is treated as a positive test.

04

Recovery participation

At least 2–3 recovery meetings each week, plus house meetings and peer support.

05

Respect for others

No fighting, threats, bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind.

06

Quiet hours

11 PM – 6 AM. Headphones only. Common areas kept peaceful for everyone.

07

Cleanliness & chores

Make your bed daily, keep your room clean, and complete your weekly chores.

08

Visitors

Approved hours in common areas only. No overnight visitors. No one under the influence.

09

Medication

Prescriptions stay in original containers. All medications must be disclosed. No sharing.

10

Smoking & fire safety

Designated outdoor areas only. No candles, incense, or open flames indoors.

The Journey

"Recovery begins with hope, and hope is built one honest day at a time."

We envision communities where individuals recovering from substance use disorders can rebuild their lives without stigma — reconnecting with family, maintaining employment, and becoming productive members of society.
